Bridlington (but not for long!)
- Even teenagers (and they're difficult to teach) will work at a book that gets you playing both hands together after one lesson.
The transposition section gets rid of the fear of #'s and b's giving the correct insight into the key system.
- The technical pieces at the end are a tiny bit too long.
More folk-type melodies have a general appeal and piano technique can be taught on most well-written pieces. The emphasis here is on well-written for badly written piano music is a curse to all.
